General Description
Designed for larger systems, the AVC200 is best matched with floorstanding models from the Image 412 to the Image Reference. Two identical 14cm bass/mid drivers (also used in the AVC100) produce a large sound with real impact, and the 28mm soft dome HF extends the response to beyond 22kHz.

General Description
The AVC400 is the perfect centre speaker to match the size and scale of high quality home projection systems.
The utmost priority has been given to creating a seamless front soundstage while maintaining optimal integration and harmonic structure with the Image 418 and Image Reference, which we highly recommend as the main speakers in large screen systems.To achieve this, Image selected the same Morel bass/midrange driver used in these models to voice the critical dialogue and other centre information. These are extraordinary midrange transducers, and free of the tonal colourations that could take away the realism of on-screen speech. For optimum performance and ultra-high power handling though we chose to use two of these identical drivers in the AVC400, so important to portray the life-size on screen action and the demanding explosive type sound effect passages we expect in most movies.
The matching tweeter has many important design elements that make it the perfect choice to partner the AVC400 bass/midrange drivers. Sheer power handling, an extended frequency range and natural dynamics are just three, but the musical nature and airy quality stand out as performance detail that make this 'central sound' so life-like. Just don't turn the lights out.
